Folder "Top of information" created automatically

Hello everybody,

after migration from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010, I see a new folder created automatically on my outlook, it names "Top of information store ". All my new emails come into this folder, all my sent items are in "deleted items" folder,... I want to have my outlook back to the normal arrangement. Please someone can help me to fix this problem. Many users have this same problem. I think that I will find a solution in this forum.

Thank you

Try starting Outlook from the command line with the /ResetFolders and/or /ResetFolderNames switches.

Hi,

Does this issue occur on OWA?

Please try to run Outlook under safe mode.

Please try to remove the profile and delete the cache in following path then re-create profile for testing.

Path: C:\Users\user.domain\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

Thanks

Hello,

We tried use OWA, same issue.

We tried

"Please try to remove the profile and delete the cache in following path then re-create profile for testing.

Path: C:\Users\user.domain\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook"

It's worked, no folder "Top of information store" but we have a problem with Outlook 2013, after any changing, it doesn't take update when "Use cached exchange mode" checked. If we modify a distribution list, par exemple adding a new user, we will never see the changing until we uncheck "use cached exchange mode". But it's not the same thing for outlook 2007, 2010, OWA, it's OK for the update.

Please help
